Default Difference between fox and SN-95 T5 transmissions

Is there a difference between a 87-93 T5 and a 94-95 T5? I know the bell housing is different and I believe the drive shaft is different, but my T5 is hosed beyond simple repair and I want to look for another trans. I think they are the same, but, I need some advice. Thanks. 5.0 GT BTW

Bell housing and input shaft is different.

The sn95 uses a slightly longer input shaft and bell housing because of where the shifter sets , It isn't very much longer , just a bit over an inch longer , but they can be swapped out rather easily with the bell housing and input shaft from your fox trans.

And I've had a 94 T5 in my 89 for years by simply swapping out the input shaft as Dawson so eloquently stated.
