Default Do I need a EGR spacer?

I have 170cc TF heads, TF upper and lower intakes, and TF valve covers. Do I need a spacer to clear the throttle linkage? If so will a 1/2in spacer fit under a stock hood?

I made a custom bracket out of bent flat aluminum to mount the throttle linkage directly to the throttle body.
