I e-mailed the guy with the TC T-5 he had the same thing to say, when someone selling an item tells me not to buy it, i'll definately listen.

I don't want to spend the "retail" of $650 for a T-5, that's rather redicules, i'm used to spending $50 for a transmission. That was my only other option aside from AOD and i really don't want that for autocross and roadcourses. I figured building up a 5.0 would be much cheaper than a rotary, i'm starting to have my doubts. (in my case anyway)</P>

if you autoX i would deff. spend the money and actually get a good tranny. something that isnt made buy ford. go with a tremec.
it seems like any ford tranny is made weak!!

It won't be autocrossed frequently or see road courses too often, but would a few times a year.The main thing i want is a smile on my face when i hit the gas.</P>
