how many miles is on the bottom end of your motor? their can be a problem with a high milage motor when you redo heads/new heads, bigger cam and things like that, it could burn oil very badly. if the car has a lot of miles and was not taken care of.

you could get a set of "p" heads for about 250.00 use a TFS 1 cam..spend a few 100.00 on gasket matching and your set
all for less than the twisted heads

If they are cared for properly they should last for years, Anti-seize should be used on the head bolts when installed. If your going to add water use distilled as the minerals in tap become electrically attracted to the aluminum heads and iron block.
