Thanks to everyone who responded. I now somewhat know the differences between the years. If I do end up getting one ill try and get a 89< And yes, I will definately do a few mods to it. Ive seen a few light blue ones around here and they look fantastic. Oh ya, and to that guy who lives in victorville, my moms bf lives in phelan which from what I understand isnt that far from you.

Well, I mean 89' to 92' since from what I read these are the best ones. But from what youre saying the 90'-92' are the best ones so ill probabaly look for these.

I have an 89, it the best year IMO.
for the following reasons
1.no map pockets
2. MASS AIR
3.has fold down center console piece
4.No airbag(look better, not very safe lol)
5. Forged internals
6. steeper 2nd and 3rd gears in transmission(compared to 87-88 stangs)

Stay away from Red interiors, cant stand the nasty red interiors, and IMO, the stock seats tend to have lean issues on the foxes.

and get a stick, i ve gone through 2 auto trannies, thast is probably cuase of the power of of my storker.
