does anybody know if stock 95gt pistons have some type of coating on them?

if so, i will have further questions

because i thought i remembered somebody saying something about somebody cleaning their pistons in a manner that would have ruined the coating. i did a search and found potential evidence there was some type of coating, but i was doubtful. figured you guys would know.

i cleaned my pistons and figured if there was a coating, i ruined it :-)

I have heard of some after market pistons having a molly coating on the skirt, but I have never heard of the stock ones with it. Im no expert so maybe someone else will have a more knowledgeable answer for you .
