Default 1990 Mustang motor mount replacement

Please give me a basic step by step on replacing my original motor mounts in my 1990 5.0. I assume when you jack the engine up, you have to remove the nuts holding the tranny to their mounts? Also assume it is best to loosen up the motor mounts nuts/bolts first before i start to jack the motor/tranny up? Help- thanks!!!

Sounds like you got it under control, install in reverse order lol.

Seriously you hit the nail on the head already. Watch the exhaust while you lift the motor, don't want to bend it to much.

best way to lift the motor is with a block of wood under the oil pan just behind the sway bar? assume the oil pan is strong enough to hold the weight of the motor? thanks!

only do one side at a time. and yeah a block under the oil pan plus a jack will work. iirc i think i actually used the bell housing last time to jack it up when i installed my solid motor mounts
