Default 1990 f150 5.0 swap into 1985 5.0 lx

So I picked up an 85 mustang 5.0 lx with the original TBI engine. was told by previous owner that car has no oil pressure and a bottom end bearing is gone. I just so happen to have a 1990 F150 with an EFI 5.0. so what I need to know is what im looking forward to with this swap? should I just do a complete swap and take the power loss, or should/can I do a short block swap and use the heads and intake from the '85 5.0? also if I do do the complete swap, what am I getting into in terms of wiring and the such? thanks for all the replies

Everything from the 85 block "should" bolt up to the 90 block no problem.
