H versus x is mostly just a sound difference. H deeper, x raspier, long tubes will produce more torque than short tubes. Dumps technically are illegal and won't pass inspection, well aren't supposed to anyhow.

I want that deep loud sound. Where I live there's no such thing as emissions. Was wondering what's the best fitment cause like on the TA some you scrape on everything others no prob.

I didn't say anything about emissions. I'm talking about state inspection. I could care less about emissions lol. I've never really heard much complaints about being to low. Most setups mustangs stay up above the frame rails.

For a 302, the BBK 1 5/8" long tubes work well. Long tubes do hang down lower, so if you also lower the car, you may drag on occasion. H pipes definitely have a throatier deeper sound.

I can tell you to avoid Hooker. They USED to make great headers but not anymore, fit is terrible.......
