idling issue?

Default idling issue?

I posted a video below, although what the main issue is( if you cant notice in the video, link below) the rpm keeps bouncing as you can see, and it seems to only do this at night when I have my headlights on. Also if you look toward the end of the video, while the rpms are "bouncing" the battery indicator gauge is moving up and down a tiny bit. Ive replaced the stock alternator with a 130 amp 3g. The car is stock but i am receiving no codes... also the car sometimes misfires when the headlights are on usually when im going from 4th to 5th around 45mph, 2-3000 rpm.

For idle issues, check these 3 things:

Idle air control valve (IAC)
Positive crankcase ventilation valve (PCV)
And also, check to make sure you have no vacuum leaks anywhere else.



For your other issues, sounds like you have a loose ground or a short. My guess would be to trace back the wires for the headlights and make sure everything is ok. See if there is any exposed wires etc.
