Default 1995 Mustang

Hi, I'm debating buying a 1995 Mustang GT with 188,000 miles on it. What problems do you think will come up on a car with this high of miles on it? I think I'm getting a deal on it but I need to know what problems will come up within the near future. The car seems to be in perfect condition. Its spotless and was taken care of really well. Thanks, Eric

Default RE: 1995 Mustang

Hey i have a 95 with about 110000 and these are some things i have had to do already:
Ingnition coil just recently
usual tune up, plugs wires rotor and cap
new smog pump
new alternator
new battery
new mass are flow sensor

that about it...i beat up on mine pretty good and soon will have to rebuild the trans and slap a new clutch on but if you are getting the car for a deal and it seems to drive alright then you are probably only looking at about $500-1000 to get it running great. I have spent much more than that but most on my performance mods. All and all it is an awesome car. You may need to replace some other sensors soon like the O2 sensors and stuff. If it drives good then get it and just take care of it!
