Hey y'all, I am in a very big pickle with my Fox body.

Yesterday we had a very cold snap here in GA and when I went out to start my car the door opened fine, which is rare on cold days. As I went to shut the door my troubles started, my drivers side door refused to latch closed. After a few good slams I gave up but later in the day, after it warmed a bit, it closed.

Now today I ventured out and I cannot get my drivers side door to open at all. Ive tried both the inside and outside door handles to no avail. I managed to get the door panel off with the door closed and everything is attached but I cannot get the latch to give even pulling on the pins.

Thinking it was the standard actuator issue I pried it loose and removed it but the lock and latch still will not budge.

Im basically at a loss as to what has happened and what to do next. I don't mind replacing parts but I obviously need the door open to do so.

If anyone has had a similar issue Im begging you, please help. Any suggestions are welcomed.

I couldn't get either of the doors open Tuesday when here in Philadelphia it was 12 degrees. I read some where (can't remember where) to spray white lithium grease in the key hole and latch area.
Never had to mess with the actuator.
