Transmission removal
Going to be doing a clutch here real soon. I've researched and understand everything in the procedure, except for the details of removing the transmission.
So my question is: Do i just support the crossmemeber, remove crossmember nuts and keep the bolts in place. Remove transmission bolts, support the transmission, remove crossmember bolts & crossmember and then take out transmission?
BTW, i will be purchasing a transmission jack and using 6 tons jack stands.
Thanks guys! Its been awhile, I love this site!

Follow this and you shouldn't have any problems.

Also some side transmission shops don't charge much to do a clutch.
Last mustang In my local shop, the guy was doing them your parts and $400 cash
He had the clutch alignment tool and all the tools your about to buy, did it in just a 3 hours
