In the old days this would be typical of a bad coil or ignition module. And I've seen a plugged fuel filter do something similar too.

IMO it sounds electrical. I'd check the ground strap where it connects to the block and also try unplugging the MAF. Of not those maybe the TPS.

Two codes popped up
81.Air diverter solenoid fault intake air control circuit fault/air injection diverter

82. Air diverter solenoid circuit fault or super circuit charger bypass circuit fault 2integrated relay control

These seem to be smog related but I have no cats on the car could that cause the code? Could bad solenids cause the problems I've had? The smog pump is still on the car.

It's gets so bad it barely runs and has stalled a few times, but it's always started back up and continues to run like crap.

This may sound stupid, find an open stretch of road, floor the car push it hard. This will irritate the cause, helping you find it easier.

Some things that come to mind

1.Low fuel pressure=failing pump when warmer, new pump and filter needed. Most common.

2.Bad ECT and O2 sensors. Can be reading slow and sluggish when warm.

Check the ground for them as well to make sure its ok.

3.Feel the negative battery cable, if its hot or warmer than the positive after drinving warm for ten minutes, let me know.

I'm having the same problem in 89 5.0, car runs great but once it gets to normal running temp is bucks and stalls when stopped. I changed cap, rotor, fuel filter. Cleaned the iac that's original to the car. No check engine light, did throw codes 41,91. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I also clean mass air with proper cleaner and o2 ground seems secure.

Oxygen sensor signal problem,41,91.

My guess, the 02 ground on the driver rear head has gone bad.
