Ok, so my 92 fox is studdering while going down the road when i try to give it a little gas. It spudders for a few seconds then clears out. After several times of just stomping on it there is no more spuddering. This happens almost every time I drive it. So, I changed the fuel filter and it ran perfect. Now after a few hundred miles the spuddering is back. So does this mean I have a dirty gas tank? It's had racing fuel run in it several times and I hear that it turns to powder after sitting for a while. So do I drop the tank and clean it???? HELP!!!

I guess one way to know for sure before you drop the tank is to change the filter again

If it clears u again for a while then yea I would say you need to clean the tank
