Default HELP! Crank no start 1989 GT hatch

Hello once again I am at your mercy, yesterday I drove my 89 GT to work running great like always she sat for the 8 hour shift. When I got of work jumped in and she cranked over but no fire, first thing I thought was no fuel so check all that goes along with fuel and everything is fine plenty of pressure. Then moved to spark, I have none! Check power to the coil ( 6 months old by the way ) got power in checked another coil on the car same thing no spark. So I check for power out if the coil and got 11.8v but still no spark. I am doing the old school screwdriver trick to check for spark. I am thinking it is tfi control module but before throwing parts at it thought I would get your opinions. Please any insite would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem on my 95 gt and it was the dizzy!! Once I replaced that fired right up.

My tfi is on the passenger firewall & when I replaced mine they didn't ask if it was a stick or auto.

Hope that helps

Yeah replaced it with an accel. I talked to guy at a local parts house with a 90 5.0 running the same one on his 5speed but now have a new issue... I have a rondom miss, I made a new post about it yesterday no replies yet though. Thanks if you could look at the other pist more info there maybe you could help with that... I've had this car almost 2years now and had hardly any problems seems she's getting a but tired.
