how much hp can u get out of a 5.0 and still be good for a daily driver? after these mods what kind of gas mileage would u get (estimate) thanks alot.

i have heard of 1000 hp daily drivers (M&amp;FF). but i would say you could prob go up to about 500 before it gets a little hairy. torque makes a bigger effect on every day driving ability. <IMG src=smileys/smiley16.gif border="0">gas mileage would depend on the mods you do. </P>

a goods heads cam intake package on a 5.0 should make for a killer street car. throw in a shortblock and a blower, and you'll burn the comp with an easy 500- 600+ hp engine depending on boost levels.
