Default Intake options!

Hey guys, iv saved up another 1000 , and plan to do a few more things to my car.
shorty headers to finish off my exhaust, a mass air conversion for future considerations, new spark wires, and an intake.

Anybody have the typhoon intake, I think i read dcmann talking about his?
How does it fit up, notice a difference in power?

I read in a magazine it picked up 0.1 seconds over a heavily ported cobra manifold but this is after doing a lot of touch up porting to the ports but not that bad of a intake for the cash. Personally once I buy mine I wanna go with a more reputable brand like Edelbrock or Trickflow.

I am going to go with typhoon because it is supposed to be identical to the performer rpm, but it needs to be cleaned up.

GT40 will give you good gains all across the powerband - Trick Flow is very good for top end.

How does the Edelbrock Peformer 2 compare to the Trickflow? with the powerband of 1500-6500 rpm.

ius your car a manual or a auto and it depends on the driving that you do too so you get the right intake for the rpm range that you want if you are doing a lot of street driving then you should look for an intake that has an rpm range from idle like the edelbrock performer thats the intake i have on my car and it works great
