ok will a older 5.0 automatic fit in my 94 gt?cause i can find all older trannys but no new ones for my car plus im workin on the the freeby budget because as you know its almost christmas.but this is my daily driver so i need it to work someone plzz help.i think the tranny is out of 302 ranger with an auto tranny(by the way the motor is custom obviosly not stock.how hard to switch to an auto?all help would be appreciated. -chris-

A AOD will fit,a C4 will fit and a C6 will fit.The only problem you will run into with an auto is fabing up linkage.If you go with an AOD make sure you get the line pressure set perfectly.That throttle valve cable absolutely has to be set perfectly.Or the tranny will go BOOM.</P>


Now with a C4 or a C6 only thing it needs is tranny fluid and a vacuum source and you are good to go.</P>
