Default 1995 Mustang 5.0 wont start.

So I recently picked my first Mustang at a public auction. However I can't get it started. It needed a new Ignition lock cylinder, simple enough. Got that done but now when I try to turn it on it cranks and almost starts but I can't get it to start fully. What could be the issue? Could it have had an alarm and that's why I can't get it to stay on?

Oh Almost forgot
It's a 1995 Mustang GT 5.0 Convertible with a 5 speed.

hold the accelerator to the floor and crank to stick the car in clear flood mode, if it still won't start, check fuel pressure, you'll need a gauge to do such for an accurate test, the test port is on the fuel rail, there is a capped off schredor valve

When you turn the key on do you hear the fuel pump prime in the tank?
Like mjr suggested , check fuel pressure at the rail when you turn the key on.
You should see at least 32 psi.

If you don't have enough pressure in the rail the injectors will just dribble fuel into the cylinders instead of atomizing it.

If you have good fuel pressure then next would be to check for spark at the plugs, and or coil.

Pop trunk, under molding on the left side is a fuel inertia switch that cuts fuel in case of a wreck. Try pressing that. Might need to be reset, then go to what everyone else is suggesting lol.

I just checked the pressure at the fuel rail and it's just 8 psi.

Well that would be your problem then. You should have at least 32 psi .

Probly time for a new pump.
