Default 89 5.0 engine remove and install.

about a month ago my oil pump locked up, I pulled the motor and changed the oil pump. I also added a new transmission, speedo cable, throw out bearing, main bearings, front and rear main seals, new rack, new o2 sensors. I meticulously put this thing back in (over about 2 weeks). Now when I hit the key nothing lights that it. If I jump solenoid it spins but slowly. I had it on the charge but it was reading 13.3. If I do get it to spin it will kinda hit a hard spot in the rotation? any help would be greatly appreciated.

you have a bad ground or cable issue as long as the battery is good

Sounds like a ground issue to me as well. Very slowly go over all the wires going to the starter and make sure they are nice and clean/tight and clean any ground wire you messed with.

Good advice above ^^^

Did the battery check out good? Did you do a load test on it? Were the cables clean and tight?

Sounds like your juice is going somewhere else when cranking, which can only be bad cables/ connections or your battery is not providing full juice when a load is put on it.

If you don't think it is a ground/starter issue

Did you check to make sure the engine turned over with a breaker bar after the main bearings were replaced?

ok update...I turned the motor several times with a breaker before I put it back in the car. before I pulled the motor a month ago the battery worked like a champ, i charged it, wnet over my grounds, all seemed correct. my terminals are new but the positive lead got real hot last night while turning the car over. today it was dead took it to vato zone and no good. still not turning over from the ignition switch. FML!

excessive current draw due to high resistance at a connection, most likely the area where it got real hot.......EL101 PERFORM VOLTAGE DROP TESTS
