not really this is a project I bought and have been putting it back together just tackling issues as i come to them, right now this is my bitch

It sounds like a dirty throttle body or vacuum leak that goes away as the engine warms up. Make sure the battery connections, body grounds, engine grounds are all free of corrosion and tight. Replace and eyelets and connections that look questionable.
