Gauge lights not coming on...

Gauge lights not coming on...
This problem started tonight while I was driving home. I turned on my headlights and the lights behind my gauges, stereo or shifter don't come on. I checked the fuses and such and none of them have blown. I'm sure that this will be an easy fix I just dunno where and what to start looking for.

I am pretty sure if you have the stereo, and the dash/shifter lights, off it would be a fuse.
check the big metal fuses in the fuse panel too.
put your voltmeter on ohms, and check it, of the meter says 0.00 it is good, but if there is resistance it is blown.
but if it was just the dash lights, it very well could be the switch.

Well I looked at my fuse diagram and I checked fuse no. 6 (the relay for the gauge lights) and it wasn't blown. So would one of the large metal fuses cause that, it's wierd because all the other lights and accesories in my car work but the gauge backing lights, the stereo lights and the shifter light (the shifter light illuminates P R N OD D 1).
