loss of electrical
I was driving down the road and my 95 gt stalled and would not restart. When I turn the switch to the start position I loose all electrical in the car then put the switch to the off position after awhile some of it will come back till you try to start the car again. It acted like the battery not holding a load but load tested the battery and it is ok. Any Ideas what it might be ?

Welcome to the forum, I would start with your grounds then battery cable ends (starter solenoid / starter). A bad ground does alot of weird things. If those check good, then ignition switch , its weird that it just dies and then won't even turn over to restart. Maybe a bad starter solenoid? The ignition switch or a bad ignition module would cause the stalling, but with a bad module, the motor will at least crank over. Keep is posted on what you find out.

Well I started with the ignition switch and starter since I was losing all electrical power when the key was put into the start position. The ignition switch was only about 8 months old but since it was cheap tried another one. So now I have a spare because that did not fix it. So I pulled the starter out and took it to the store and had it ops checked. They said it was operating normally. However I did not like the amount of wear on the starter gear so I replaced it anyway. They did say the starter gear wobbled a little funny on its way out. My car still had the factory ignition wire hook up on the starter and had to upgrade to the new style with the starter change. The old ignition wire connector to the starter did have some corrosion on it but not all that bad have seen worse. So new starter with an upgrade to the ignition wire connector on the starter and for the fun of it I ran a new ground wire from the negative battery terminal to the radiator mounting frame and the car started right up and has been running well since. Personally I think it was the starter
