Default What is the correct throttle body for a 1994 mustang gt

I have a 94 gt 5spd manual. I recently bought it and the former owner told me that the car had a Gt 40 upper and lower, intake 1.7 rockers, bbk shorty headers, 70 mm throttle body. no smog pump no AC and no egr, and 3.73 gears. The throttle is a little stiff, so I inspected the throttle cable and saw that it had been broken and reatached. So I need to buy a new one but I want to make sure the throttle body arm or bracket (if that is what it's called. Where the cable attaches) is the correct one. The arm moves side ways, all the ones I've seen online move up and down. Also the cruise control cable is not attached and it doesn't seem like it can be attached to the arm. Also, is there suppose to be a long spring running vertical to the cables? Because mines doesn't have any. Thank you for all the help. I will upload a picture of what I'm talking about tomorow because it is dark here right now so I can't take a picture. Thanks again for all the help.

Every stock and aftermarket TB I've ever seen moves vertically. Can you post a photo?

I can post a picture in a couple of hours when the sun goes up, is late here. Thank you for the help. I just don't want to spend money on something and then not have it work. Thanks again.

I'm sorry I put the wrong tittle on the question. I meant the throttle bracket or arm. It's where the throttle cable attaches to. Thank you and sorry for the confusion.

I knew what you meant. And it should move up and down. We'll see what you have with the photo.

Here are the pictures. If they aren't clear enough let me know and I will take out the throttle body and take better pictures. Thank you for the help.

Not sure but it looks to me like instead of getting the elbow that is needed for a gt40 intake they just mounted the TB like the fox body cars and cut the cable to make it work.

They likely used the throttle body off of the explorer because you have to change the throttle arm to make it work on the sn95 mustangs and it looks like they just jury rigged it up .

They then wrapped the cable around the ball where the cruise control cable would normally go.
This is what should be done on the 94-95 cars with a gt40 intake. This is my old 94 and it is correct.

and here is a far away picture so you can reference the location of it.

So I would need the 45 degree elbow and the arm and a new throttle cable. I'm I missing anything else? Thank you.
