1990 GT Pass door wont open from inside
So I recently got a 1990 GT that needs some work. One of the mroe annoying issues is that the passenger door won't open from the inside. It also needs a new window motor so i took off the trim and paneling. The door will lock, and unlock, and open from the outside, it just wont open from the inside. I watched as I pull the handle and can see that the handle is still connected to the rod and is moving the mechanism, so I am pretty dumbfounded on what to do. Help please!

The whole door needs to be pulled apart or a new one needs to be bought I had this problem with my truck when I still had it and had to completely take the door apart down to the point where it was just the internal hardware and I had to reconnect part of a rod that came loose or you could start spraying pb blaster on it from behind the handle if everything is connected and it might work
That was on a Chevy pickup though so I don't know how different it is

Check the handle itself. They have a roll pin in them that can slip and cause the handle to not pull enough on the latch. You can also try pushing the latch arm that the inner handle connects to. If that doesnt open the door then the latch is messed up.
