i eliminated my ac i bought off summit the trick flow ac bracket. you move the belt tensioner over to where the ac used to be and the bracket bolts to the water pump and the power steering. and the tensioner is held in by the bracket. im not sure about the belt size but i know the last digits is a 70

I'm also interested in this info- I want to remove all the smog+ac stuff.... what exactly is needed.... a special bracket like mentioned above for the a/c, but the smog can just be bypassed? I remember reading about plugging some stuff up that was related to the smog... And I imagine the trick flow bracket was probably way more expensive than a summit brand... anyone else deleted both? Thanks guys

P.S.- I'm parking the stang for the winter, but i wanna buy the stuff over winter...

I plan on deleting the a/c, smog, add pullies, and advance timing before spring
Estimated HP gains? I'm thinking in the neighborhood of 20hp...

I would do more, but I'm also replacing the top, some ponys, getting a new front bumper (with the grill insert... I love em), getting a spoiler, and a spanking new paint job...
oh yea, plus investigating clutch issues...which is a whole monster in itself (I step on the clutch, and a hear a high pitch noise, it reminds me of what would be generated if you spun something really fast, and kept poking it with metal, like when you grind some metal down, except it pulses; plus I have vibration on slow takeoffs, along with clutch slippage)

sorta added a whole new post on top of this one... my bad [:@]

ive deleted the ac and smog, it was very easy, i suggest buying the FMS eliminator its way better than any other ones that move the tensior over. as for the smog just remove it and run the belt like you normally would just no smog.
