howdy, i have a 93 block(non roller) i swapped over to carb. having problems with a ignition and i was going to purchase a new pro form hei with built in coil, that way all i have to do is run one hot hire to it an hook up my tack an im done. im using a edelbrock performer rpm intake, will i have any problems? figured id ask before i drop $250 on one. thanks!

if its chinese i would not buy it . . if you have much hp i woukld also buy a multi spark box like msd6al 2 or pertronix 3 distributor.
its a pro form. ive used them before in other older vehicles and never had a problem with them. only ignition ill be using is the coil in the distributor.
gotta question fellas. for this distributor, once i run the wire over to the battery an too my tack, is that all i gotta do? is there supposed to be a wire going to the ignition?

you should use about a 12 gauge wire and I'd run it to a switched 12v source not constant such as battery but yes those are the only 2 wires needed to fire it off
thanks man, i got er, little pain in the butt, i put a little box of the firewall with a fuse in in, ran power to it then across to the dizzy. hooked the tack up but its not workin though
