cant you just fix it with a double sided hose barb?

I have to get to the whole hose unfortunately and am most likely wrapping electrical tape around it for now until winter so I can still check how it runs with the new heads I'm going to be getting soon and new rocker arms and valves cleaned and what not

It sounds like the line that runs to the gas tank, from the charcoal canister. Cost of a new line will be cheap, but the effort to replace it will be high. I would look at repairing, if possible.

If its the small vinyl line then just get a small piece of rubber tubing that the vinyl tube just barely fits it, use a bit of epoxy or super glue on the ends and shove em in the rubber tube, let the epoxy harden and it should last for years.

When I had a bunch of broken lines on my 94 , I just went to the junk yard down the street and found some similar ones on different cars, took the plastic lines, and rubber ends as well , then I just replaced them all , the junk yard didn't even charge me for em.

If it is indeed the line that runs to the carbon canister, it can be replaced by jacking up the car, removing the wheel and inner fender liner. Then remove the canister and replace what's dry rotted with new hose. I did this a few weeks ago and replaced all lines associated with the canister. The only issue I had was that one of the hoses had to be different diameters on each end. Find someone with small hands to hook your new line up under the manifold and you will be good to go.
