Default cam swap help

Install n a trick flow cam stage 1 do I need to change the valve spring also?

yes if they are stock ford springs but maybe not if they are not.

I'm betting that Trick-Flow will be glad to tell you, they ground the cam so they should know something about it.
If you have the right tools you can change the springs without pulling the heads off.
I would advise pulling the heads off however because you'll need to check valve to piston clearance........
