Actually, it's not as much as you think. Since all the work was done by either me or my dad, it's only parts. And we get good deals. New engine, new tranny, rear end buldup, suspension, sound system, all of it probobly totals lass than $5,000, over the course of 12 years, not including maintainance stuff. That's as much as many people spend on just the motor and installation. The reason is that I like the ride. I just like having all that interior space. Because no matter where I am, I'm never far from my couch And I happen to like the look of it. I know I shouldn't say it here but...i nevrer really thought the fox mustang were that hot looking. Not that they are ugly, they just didn't hit my sweet spot....now the 05-06...[sm=drooldude.gif]

There is someone on CarDomain with this car that claims to have a turbo on it...but has yet to prove it, and 215 wide tires on a turbo 351.....just don't set right.

I've got a question about converters. When I'm driving normally, will it stall until I reach 3000 rpms or will it drive normally until I do a brake stand or go to launch from a light or something.

i didnt have to much of a problem with it when driving the stang. i did need a good cooler besides that it wasnt to bad of a problem. only time that it gave me any issue was on a steep hill trying to pull away at a light. that just took some brake pedal to prevent tires from spinning
