Power loss?

Is this just in my head or what?

I'm usually pretty good at diagnosing problems and fixing stuff, but this is just strange. My car feels like it has more power at times, than it does at others. I'm serious, it really feels like something is different of some days than others, and that the car becomes a crazy beast some days, and some little pansy others.

Like tonight coming home, it was flying, and then other nights, I floor it, and the damn thing is like the wheels are 100lbs each. I have no clue. Maybe a plug or wire is off or loose and I'm down a cylinder sometimes, but otherwise, I can'tfigure what the heck is the difference.

cars act to the climate around them. like air temp, humidity, barometic level. elevation, they may not seem like they play in factor but they do.i know with my truck, the computer will adjust to the amount of gas it has in the tank
