Unhappy Engine Block Information?

I'm trying to find out more information about an engine I bought?
I'm not having much luck.... Block code: F1SEBB

1991 thunder chicken, engine division. BB is just a date code I believe.

Should also note that just because it is stamped 91 thunderbird , does not necessarily mean it was used in a thunderbird. Ford used that block in several cars, and if there were F1SE blocks left on the line when they switched over to a different model or model year they used the remaining F1SE blocks first.

It is a very common 302 roller block.

So it's a 1991 roller block? Is it an HO? and will a tremec t45 5 speed work with it? KJ

T45 will not fit behind it a T5 will

As far as weather its an HO block or not depends on what cam you throw in it. Or what cam it has in it now.

doesn't mean it's a 91......that's just the start of the new casting code.....e7 casting code went until then so in theroy it could of been for example if it carried a e7 code from 87-90 or 91 until all those casting codes were used up
