Any ideas on how well the stock t5 would hold up to it? If it's not hot rodded or drove hard or raced? Having issues with my daily driver and might have to spend money I was using for the mustang. Just to get it driving again until I can save for a a5 or t56

a stock t5 will hold perfectly fine until you start getting traction...thats what things start to break. the fox i installed the a5 in was dynoed at over 650 at the wheels. my buddy spent a lot of time researching which transmission he wanted and would handle the power. he called astro performance and talked to the owner who assured him that the transmission would handle the power. its also not the hp that you have to worry about as much as it is the tq.
