Backfire now no start
Car was being driven under normal conditions and out of nowhere it backfired turns off and refused to start. The engine just cranks but will not start. I just got new plug wires and today picked up new plugs because the ones in there had been in there for a while.
The car is a. 347 stroker with elder rock heads and a blower. It's also efi. I'm really thinking the dizzy is toast but I'm not sure.

I did check the spark, and fuel delivery. My fuel pressure stayed constant during the time of me trying to start the car. As far as spark, I pulled a plug wire off the top of the distributor to be sure it's getting spark and getting spark at the msd blaster. I also have a msd 6al both blaster and 6al have been on the car for a very long time.

That's exactly what happened. The distributor was loose and moved now I'm unsure if that may have messed up the distributor. The motor has less than 5k miles on it. Another thing I'd like to ask is as far as firing orders, are there only the two different ones for ho and non ho?

Ok because when I bought the car the plug wires were totally different than both of those firing orders. If that's the case do I align the distributor with the number 1 plug in the other firing order?

pull no 1 plug, roll motor over until you feel air come out with finger over the hole , at that point balancer and pointer should be close, lone up pointer to 0 on balancer, then drop dizzy in with rotor pointing to no 1 plug location on the cap
