1992 front end suddenly lowered

hi, I just installed my rebuilt transmission in my 92. I took it for a spin to check everything out and when I got home I noticed the front end sits drastically lower now. The car sat level when I left. It acts like the struts are out. If you push on the front end it bounces. It just hard for me to believe they would both go out just like that and at the same time, but anything is possible. Ideas? Thanks!

Ride hight is suspension. Crawl under the car and see what's broken or wore out. How many miles on the car?

Springs determine ride height, and it would be odd that both front springs break at the same time. I'd look at the front frame rails for rot/rust just to start. Your not really in the rust belt, but I don't know the history of your car. How are the body panel lines, specifically front fender to door?

How much did the front drop ?
