Default Spring Options (V6, Cobra, GT, Fox)

I'm looking to lower my 95 Mustang Coupe About 1" front n back.
(Preferably something around 1.25" F n .75" R or 1.1" F n 1" R)

Its gonna be mostly a street car, so I would like drive it like
a Mustang. I'd love Drag Springs, but don't want it to ride
like a Caddy/Boat.. It will also see some very aggressive
drag strip passes 20 X +/- each year.. Cut V8 Springs??

What are my options. I'd like it about 1" lower, with stock
handling. Will a set of V6 Springs do what I want for me?

Will SN95 Cobra Springs lower my GT about 1" all around?

Also, V8 Fox Body Springs in a V8 SN95? Any1 help me here?
I cant be the only person that has ever thought about doing this..

Tubular K member & A-Arms. Coil-overs up front with stock V8 springs out back. Cut one coil of of the back spring to reduce ride height.

Wont be doing Tube K Member, A-Arms, or Coil overs..
I will only have this car for a few years b4 moving on.

How much does cutting 1 coil off lower the car?

Depends on how wore out the springs are! If your only going to keep the car a short time why waste money on lowering a car? Your a pretty young dude aren't you? When building a car you should tailor everything around how the car is going to be used. The suspension is no exception! 6 cylinder springs are ment to handle the weight of a V6. Obviously Using V6 springs on a vehicle that they are not entended will have a negative effect on handling or Ford would have put the same springs on both V6 and V8 cars. The SN95 Cobra springs are the same as the GT. The Cobra used Tokico shocks and struts as it's upgraded suspension so using cobra springs wont alter ride height at all! If your determined to lower the car at least use quality new progressive rate springs like Ford racing, Steeda, Hotchkis, Eibach, ETC! The ford racing springs can be had for about $150 on American Muscle or Late model Restoration. Don't getto your suspension up by swapping or cutting springs when new springs can be had soooooo cheaply!

I'm 33. I won't spend $1200+ on a Tubular
K Member or A-Arms n coil overs. I will have
the car for maybe a year. I will spend the
$1200 on other stuff on my car.

LOL, that's what I said when I bought mine............8 yrs ago. But I'm a sentimental guy, once I bleed on a car, it's usually mine till the end.

Buy the spring kit American Muscle or LMR, you'll be glad you did.

Not me. I've had over 50 cars since 2000.
And for 5 years I kept the same 3 cars/trucks.

I buy em, I build em, I break em, I better em, then I sell em.
I like to build/change them from being stock and sell them.

V6/Cut was a question.

I found FRPP has some springs. M-5300-B and M-5300-C may be
what exactly I'm looking for.. They both lower 1-1/8th front n .875" rear.

Site says slightly harsher ride, 1 has set spring rate, other is progressive.

Any one ever run these? #s seem to be between/lower/softer than all of
the other lowering springs out there. Like a shorter stock version spring.

Thats the ones. You'll like those. I put them on my daughters 98 GT. Give it a nice profile but you could still fit a jack under it.
