i did the edelbrock performer intake with a 70mm tb, that tb might be too big for right now but i might need it in the future so its basically up to personal preference but the intake i have is nice i like it and no problems i recommend it.

buy a bigger maf first as the intake and bigger t/b won't due anything when the maf being all 55mm is the problem

The MAF is the Mass Air Flow Meter. It's located right after the air box on the intake tube. Upgrade that baby to a 70mm one and you should be ready to do TB and intake. The idea is to have a MAF meter bigger than the TB opening yet Ford put a smaller MAF than the TB from the factory for some reason.

I might not know much but I know enough to say don't spend your money on that. Save up for your heads, intake, and cam. A bigger TB and a CAI won't do much. Different heads and an intake will.

lol right now im really confused what to do. i heard get the intake with the tb and w/o, cai is good and is worthless, get some cams, heads, and some kid in my class was all "all you need is pulleys and a cai, than theres nothing else worth installing except a supercharger" lol.

I'm just saying you will see the most gains with a head/intake/cam combo.

But he doesnt have the money for h/c/i he said so i guess he can save for the heads or maybe if he wants a lil extra horse while he saves he can buy the intake and what you need to go with it (tb and maf) and when your ready all you will hafta to do is by h/c and forget the i cause u already got it.
