Without a good set of heads or cam, I wouldnt waste the money on the TB. I hear that typhoon intakes are preety good, I would go with either the Edelbrock performer intake or the BBK intake. You will prolly see about a 10-20 hp increase with intake, I will recomened a good set of head for the intakes full potential.
You can even buy a cam for as much as the Intake.

pick an intake on where and how you want to build this car and not by what someone says. this is why so many cars go slower then ppl thought expected. also a 70mm tb wont give you any more power over the 65mmtb right now. and dont say for future down the line. its depends on the motor and what it will be intended for. a 65 is more then enough for most street combos

Foxy did you convert to maf. Also did you just port the stock 86 heads?

if you are looking to build a car on a budget, why dont you go out and get your stock e7 heads ported? i have heard that a set of stock ported haeds will flow very well for a street setup. then you can go out and buy a cam and a cheap intake such as the typhoon. and then get the typhoon ported and add the pulleys, cai, and tb. and if you did this it would probably be in your best interest to buy a bigger maf.
