RE: Fox body mods
are you shy?....why does the car have to do the talking?.....my car is quite and stock appearing and on most nite puts everyone on the trailer shaking the head.... still makes me just another stang owner......but I do like the look on their faces and i don't draw the unwanted attention that comes with bling-bling or loud *** exhaust..good luck

if you get headers get shorties. LT headers aren't for cars unless you have atleast 400 wrhp and stock doesn't have that. if you get them you'd actually lose HP and torque.

RE: Fox body mods
Ok she does have the stock headers that do contribute to her sound but its not quite as "refined"
as I would like I want a setup that the sound is deep and raw and you really here it when I accelerate. I believe my the stock pipes are 2.5" and it already has a cat back exhaust minus the H pipe or X cross over. Can I deepen the sound by the sound by changing the mufflers alone? I ask as I would rather not get into the expense of switching headers or adding an H pipe setup. If so what would give me the best bang for my buck? As for removing the stock air intake and replacing it with a K&N intake kit I'm all for it again though how much increase in HP can I expect to see for how much drop in gas mileage. I mean right now she gets 18MPG in town and 30MPG on the highway which I pretty good for a 302. As well about how much do K&N kits an Magnaflow/Flowmaster mufflers go for?

Well you say you already have a catback system on your car.. soo why not go for an off road H or X, depending on what brand you want it can be preety cheap.
You will get alot of different opinions on cold air intake kits, but all iv done is swapd out my stock air filter with a k&n filter.
Dont expect to gain much hp for early mods such as underdrive pullies, cold air intakes ect..
You could also remove the air silencer which is behind your stock air intake box . Do a search at the bottom of the page to find info on how to remove it or anything to do with basic mods. Theres alot of info if you just search for it.
