With those tires you should launch hard at 4000. Just make sure you heat em up good. I run bf drag radials and I come out of the hole at 3000 and it hooks

drive it like you stole it, if it breaks than fix it..lol..with slicks and a stick you need to laucnh decent amount of rpm's or it may stall the motor, i say at least 4k maybe even 5
