fuel cell or no?
 

Im building a 85 drag car. 327 stroker 10-11.1 comp. 296dur,596lift. 410 gears,drag radials.roll bar,sub conectors. Do i need a fuel cell would it be alot better? i just dont know if i want to spend the money in getting one

fuel cells are good for weight reduction. you can get a very small tank to replace the bulky stocker. they are also a lot safer. you will not improve you too greatly, but it will make a difference

You can get them at alot of places but if you are on a budget than you should just get a summit fuel cell.

I got mine from E-bay , it's a Aeromotive tank w/sump. I only paid about $250 including shipping!!! I have seen several on E-Bay. Good Luck!!

Fuel Cell is NOT 'required for most classes'......
You could take the stock tank off the car and get a sump kit for it.
I saw one advertised in Fast Fords & Mustangs a few weeks ago that is made to fit a Fox body and has 2 1/2" NPT outlets.
I think this is wahat I'll do for my '84 instead of using the cell I already own........

BTW, if you really want a cell, Summit sells them new for about $100 and another $30-$40 foor the mounts......
