Yezzir. It seems like you were correct and i was creating a type of vaccum in the tankl. But what threw me off was removing the gas cap really didnt help any. My freind who is more knowledgeable about cars suggested that i might also have a faulty gas cap because when i remove the one i currently have it makes a sound similar to opening a bottle of soda. much more air pressure then when i remove the car from my jeep.
