Ok have another question. 95 gt the guy before me changed over to carb. He also said he put a c4 tranny in it. I bought the car a few days ago and drove it it was fine. But now when I go to back up it has a loud weird dull grinding sound. Sounds like somewhere from front half of car can't tell what side. Doesn't do it in drive just when I'm backing up.

Check your plastics in the wheel well and make sure when you back up one of the pieces isn't getting caught on the tire. You could also have a loose or busted brake pad.
