Kenne Bell Sound

Anyone have a vid or sounds clip of a 5.0 charged Kenne Bell I am supercharging soon and I am leaning towards Kenne Bell but I want to know what they sound liek compared to Votechs and such.

you should be comparing the performance vs. cost of the supercharger... not the sound. vortech or procharge it.... or you could slap one of those exhaust turbos in the tailpipes if you like the sound of a turbo. haha just busting your balls a bit[8D]

Those turbo things are the extemely gay, I have worked the numbers I biult this set up for low end torque and with pro charger and any other center fuge type it only smacks at higher RPM unlike that kenne which has tire shredding torque at low RPM. Cost is not a problem I know they are about double the price. Thing is I have never heard/ seen one in a 5.0 just wanted some feedback on it. haha therefore anyone with any vids?

the "tire shredding" low ene torque you're refering to come in @ best 1500 rpms... that is about one tenth of a second and after rev out your rpms won't drop much. there is a reason you don't see many 5.0's with a kenny bell, the performance doesn't justify the price;)

sorry that's @ best 1500 rpms sooner that a vortech or procharger

Exactly, those 1500 RPM's are alot around city cruisin where I am from there isn't freeways n **** and I live in the middle of the mountains so a straight section's on the highway are very few and far between. It sucks they cost so much money yes but I need the low end to compliment my combo its set up and tuned from 0 to 5500 RPM

Hey Schwindty, Not to go off topic but I was reading your sig and was wondering what your Dyno Numbers are or Quarter miles times are. Reason I ask Is because im going with almost the exact same setup.

RE: Kenne Bell Sound

I wish I knew what my 1/4 mile time was, the closest track is about 3 hours away from me so I havnet had exact numbers as of yet. Same with dyno numbers the closest dyno is 4 1/2 hours away.... GOTTA hate remote area's in Canada.... I actually just did the MAF conversion and got it running aight, all I can say is that I used to own a 2001 GT with CIA, Cat Back and Pullies and where this car is at right now is MUCH faster than the 01. I am hopeing to get the numbers soon I have to get some paint on the unit first its sitting in my garage bare metal right now. haha ( Been working on it for a year now over 10 Grand Invested... Hurtin)

I asked the same Question a While ago, Theres no Vids of it that I know of and I searched for days. Although I think the KB S/C would be an awsome setup for a fox just for the simple fact the its rare.
