1994 GT smog pipe removal
 

I removed my smog pump 10 years ago and plugged the pipe that runs to the back of the engine. The plug finally rotted away and I've got what sounds like an exhaust leak coming from the pipe. Anyone have any luck removing this pipe wiithout pulling the engine? If so, what did you use to fill the port once the pipe was removed?

the threads in the head are 5/8-11.
You can pick up a set from a hardware store.
