Head gasket issues please help

As a novice when you come across a problem you ask the pros for advice . I'm recently putting together a 347 block . Last night when I place the gasket (felpro1011 -2) on the block I notice that the oil return hole was a bit covers by the gasket . I place the gasket on the aluminum heads and they fit perfect . Is this normal on this blocks ? Thanks for the input !

it's normal............and for future reference 1011-2 gaskets suck, I blew more of thoses than I care to admit...........9333pt1 oem is twice the gasket they are and with the blue permaseal 1011-2 you "don't" need nor do they recommend using that copper gasket crap you slimed all over the gasket.

Ok thanks I'll keep that in mind for my next purchased . Maybe those gasket blow because of this fitment ? Or do all 302 gasket have this style of fitment?

Id change them now before you get everything torqued down...blown headgasket at the wrong time can throw your whole build down the drain.
