SN95 T5 in Foxbody
Hey so I just bought an 88 Gt and the tyranny feels like its going to fall apart soon since it has 168,000 miles on it, but I have a T5 from a 94 GT with a new clutch pressure plate machined flywheel the whole deal and I know the input shaft is longer but late model resto sells an adapter plate that says it would bolt right in with the fox bellhousing and I was wondering if anybody has done this and if I'm going to need a new drive shaft
Thanks Heres the link to the part: http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...er-Plate-83-93 |

Yes, you'll need a Fox input shaft. I haven't used an adapter plate so can't help you there.
It's early and I'm still half awake, but doesn't the bell housing need to be swapped also, just so the shifter lines up with the floor pan cut out ??? I can't remember.... |

when putting the new input shaft in, use petroleum jelly to keep needle bearings in place:icon_stooge:
