will a 70mm egr spacer work with 65mm throttle body and explorer intake
I have a explorer intake I was wondering if I can put a 70mm egr spacer in between it and the explorer throttle body which is 65mm? I have to buy a new spacer anyway so I thought I would get a 70mm if it would work in case I want to upgrade to a 70 mm throttle body later. One less thing to buy then.
Thanks

In an ideal world, yes, match the openings like mjr46 said.
That said, I had an issue with an original throttle body from 1987 sticking, and no amount of cleaning would fix it. I found out that the butterfly had worn a spot in the aluminum throttle body housing and it was catching every time it opened. Metal to metal. it wasn't gummed up or anything. It was grinding.
So I opted for a a new Accufab thottle body and spacer. I knew I wanted to delete the EGR, so I went with the 70mm EGR delete spacer and new throttle body, which the smallest I could find.
Everything works fine.
