EGR/Vacumn/Upper Intake
Started of thinkin I had bad EGR,after a week finally got it off looks fine. While removing noticed a ( I think) a vacumn hose hooked to the top back of intake not connected to anything.
Do I need to remove the intake to fix the vacunmn lines???? If so how?
thanks

Depending on what kind of shape all your vac hoses are, it's not a bad idea to yank the upper and replace all of the lines anyway.
I had a major vacuum leak and I wasn't sure where it was. A couple of the lines going to and from under the upper looked suspicious so I pulled the upper off and replaced them all, along with all the other ones I could get to.
Cheap to do, and easy. The only thing it cost was the price of new hose and a new gasket.
And of course, a little time.
